Naked man drifting at sea

(Baonghean.vn)- While fishing at sea, a fisherman discovered the body of a man drifting at sea.

Quynh Luu district authorities are searching for the identity of the man drifting at sea.

Previously, on January 17, while fishing at coordinates 106.12 North latitude, 109.42 East longitude, Mr. Pham Van Thang's boat (35 years old, residing in hamlet 9, Son Hai commune, Quynh Luu district) suddenly discovered a body drifting at sea.

Identifying the victim as a man who had been dead naked for many days, Mr. Thang immediately had the body lifted onto the boat and quickly ran to Lach Thoi port (Son Hai commune) to report to local authorities and functional agencies.

Immediately afterwards, the Nghe An Provincial Police Department's forensic examination agency arrived at the scene to conduct an autopsy. The man was in his 30s, about 1.7m tall, and weighed about 65kg.

Authorities conduct appraisal procedures

Because the victim had no identification papers and his face was beginning to be disfigured, his identity could not be determined.

The body is currently being buried by local authorities and residents. At the same time, coastal localities in the Central region and the coastal provinces of North Central Vietnam have been notified.
