The Telegraph reported on November 11th that neither actor Rowan Atkinson nor his wife appeared in their divorce hearing, which lasted exactly 65 seconds, at the London Family Court (England).

It is known that the marriage between the comedian and Sunetra Sastry had been strained for a long time. By 2014, they separated and lived in different houses. Sunetra Sastry continued to stay in the £11 million mansion in Oxfordshire, while Rowan Atkinson moved to a £4 million house near where his girlfriend lived in London.

At the time, the 60-year-old actor was frequently spotted by paparazzi dating and being affectionate with Louise Ford. The 32-year-old woman had previously appeared in the Channel 4 sitcom Chickens. 'Mr. Bean' and Louise Ford first met on the West End set in 2013. To date, they have been publicly dating for 18 months.

The news of her husband having a new mistress has deeply saddened the actor's wife of 24 years. A source told The Sun: "Sunetra is still extremely upset about being replaced by a younger woman."

The Sun further reported that Rowan Atkinson married Sunetra, who was then a makeup artist for the BBC in New York, in 1990. They have two children: Ben (22 years old) and Lily (20 years old).

Rowan Atkinson is a talented British comedian, film actor, and screenwriter. He has been voted one of the 50 greatest comedians in the UK. His career is marked by roles in Blackadder, The Thin Blue Line, Mr. Bean, and many others.
