Mr. Son: Celebrating the 85th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam National United Front

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of November 17, the Fatherland Front Committee of Anh Son district held a meeting to celebrate the 85th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam National United Front.

Over the past year, the Fatherland Front Committee of Anh Son district has made efforts to unite all classes of people to effectively implement the 5 contents of the campaign "All people unite to build a cultural life in residential areas" associated with new rural construction.

As a result, the whole district has 130/252 villages, hamlets and blocks achieving cultural titles; 62/68 schools and 21/43 agencies and units achieving cultural titles; 27,431/31,117 cultural families recognized.

In particular, in 2015, the Fatherland Front at all levels in the district effectively carried out the campaign "Day for the Poor", mobilizing more than 557 million VND in support, including 230 million VND in support for 15 poor households to build Great Solidarity houses.

In the coming time, the Fatherland Front of Anh Son district will continue to innovate the content and methods of operation in the direction of being close to the people, aiming at the grassroots in a practical and effective way. Encourage all classes of people to enthusiastically participate in emulation movements and campaigns such as: solidarity to help each other reduce poverty, the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life in residential areas" associated with new rural construction.
