Director Lai Bac Hai Dang will be a judge for the first time at the 35th National Television Festival (NTVF) taking place in Quang Binh from December 16-19.

Mr. Nguyen Ha Nam - Head of the Editorial Secretariat of Vietnam Television, Permanent Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of the 35th National Television Festival said that the new feature of this year's program is that in addition to the national television stations, for the first time there is the People's Television Channel; the contest entries also have a clear improvement in image and sound quality when about 60 - 70% of the works meet HD standards.

Because LH takes place in Quang Binh, according to musician Luong Minh, the opening night will carry many imprints of the host place. Quang Binh's folk songs, folk songs, and lyrical melodies staged in a contemporary style will be considered an interesting highlight of the opening night.

The categories participating in the LH include: Children's Programs, Documentaries, Reports, Specialized Programs - Science and Education, Exchange - Dialogue - Discussion Programs, Ethnic Minority Language Television Programs, Music and Dance Programs, Stage Programs and Television Dramas.

Up to now, the Organizing Committee has received more than 400 entries from Television Stations, Radio - Television Stations and TV program production units nationwide. Of which, as every year, the Reportage and Documentary categories have the largest number of entries.
