(Baonghean.vn) - On December 9 and 10, the inspection team of the democratic regulations led by comrade Nguyen Huu Nhi - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Farmers' Association inspected the 2015 Democratic Regulations in Hung Nguyen district. After directly inspecting Hung Lam commune and the archives in the district, the team had a working session with members of the Steering Committee for the implementation of the grassroots democratic regulations of the district.

Since the beginning of the year, the Standing Committee of Hung Nguyen District Party Committee has issued documents directing the promotion of the implementation of grassroots democracy regulations in agencies and units, considering this a key task of the district. Regularly review and supplement regulations on coordination of work between the People's Committee and sectors, the Fatherland Front and mass organizations to effectively perform the supervisory function of the Fatherland Front and its member organizations over state agencies, elected representatives and state officials.

Comrade Hoang Van Phi - Member of the Provincial Party Committee - Secretary of Hung Nguyen District Party Committee affirmed: "To effectively implement democratic regulations, we must start with the role of cadres".

Thanks to that, the implementation of the Grassroots Democracy Regulations has contributed to creating many positive changes. In 2015, the total budget revenue of Hung Nguyen district is estimated at 1,131 billion VND. The economic growth rate is 6.8%. The implementation of the Grassroots Democracy Regulations has promoted and exploited internal resources well. In 2015, the total production value reached 3,795 billion VND. People's lives are basically stable, national defense and security work continues to be maintained.

However, in Hung Lam commune, the rate of people attending some meetings is not high, the quality and effectiveness of supervision work is still limited. Some members of the District Steering Committee have not really followed the assigned units to inspect, urge, remind and promptly remove difficulties and obstacles for the grassroots. The work of receiving people, resolving complaints and denunciations of citizens is not yet systematic in some places, the quality of operations of the transaction center under the "one-stop" mechanism is still limited.

Concluding the Conference, Comrade Nguyen Huu Nhi - Head of the inspection team highly appreciated the results of implementing the grassroots democracy regulations in 2015 of the district. At the same time, he hoped that the Party Committee, the government and the member agencies of the District Steering Committee should clearly decentralize the roles and responsibilities of each member in directing the implementation of the democratic regulations in communes, towns and right at their agencies and units. Regularly urge and inspect to promptly correct, remind and discover and commend good examples and good practices to widely replicate. Foster and train a team of cadres to be exemplary and responsible; strengthen dialogue with the people, and at the same time raise people's awareness of the grassroots democracy regulations.
