Launching inspection and handling of oversized and overloaded vehicles

((Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of November 11, the Nghe An Department of Transport Inspectorate coordinated with the Traffic Safety Committee of Quynh Luu district to inspect and handle automobile transportation activities on National Highway 48, through Quynh Chau commune.

Nghe An Department of Transport inspectors are measuring the vehicle's parameters.

After 1 day of operation, the Department of Transport Inspectorate together with the Traffic Safety Committee of Quynh Luu district handled and persuaded over 10 truck owners in the 3 mountainous communes of Quynh Chau, Quynh Tam, Quynh Thang (Quynh Luu) to remove additional equipment and cut down the truck bed to reduce weight.

Proceed to remove the vehicle body that was added by the vehicle owner.

This is an activity within the peak period of inspection and handling of violations of passenger and freight vehicles in the whole province to raise awareness of law compliance of traffic participants, limit the operation of overloaded freight vehicles causing damage to traffic works, contributing to reducing traffic accidents.
