(Baonghean.vn) - On January 28, 2016, Vinh City Tax Department held a conference to summarize tax collection in 2015 and deploy tasks and solutions for tax collection in 2016. In 2016, Vinh Tax Department strives to achieve a revenue of 1,875 billion VND.

In 2015, Vinh City Tax Department has synchronously and drastically implemented solutions to increase revenue and urge the collection of tax arrears. Strengthened the control and exploitation of revenue sources, assigned debt collection targets to each tax team; focused on supporting and solving difficulties for taxpayers. Established and reorganized the Debt Collection Steering Committee and inter-sectoral inspection teams to collect and handle tax arrears.

Coordinate with the State Treasury, commercial banks, and credit institutions in enforcing tax debt collection. Thanks to that, the total budget revenue in 2015 reached 1,453.7 billion VND, equal to 134% of the ordinance estimate, up 16% over the same period. 10/10 tax teams assigned with revenue estimates all exceeded the plan by 20-55%.

In 2016, strive to exceed the revenue estimate assigned by the City People's Council of 1,875 billion VND.
