Nghe An strives to attract 350-400 million USD in ODA capital.

(Baonghean.vn) - During the period 2016-2020, Nghe An province aims to attract 350-400 million USD in ODA capital, equivalent to 6,600-7,000 billion VND.

According to the Nghe An Provincial Department of Planning and Investment, by 2015, 31 ODA programs and projects with a total investment of 15,050 billion VND had been and were being implemented in the province.

During the period 2016-2020, Nghe An will focus on attracting 350-400 million USD in ODA capital, prioritizing new projects and ongoing projects such as: building a system to prevent saltwater intrusion, preserve freshwater, and improve the environment on the Lam River; building an e-government system for Nghe An province; and improving urban infrastructure in Vinh.

In addition, Nghe An province aims to attract ODA capital focusing on the following areas: agricultural development; building new rural areas combined with poverty alleviation; building a modern and integrated economic infrastructure; building social infrastructure (healthcare, education and training, population development, and other areas); protecting the environment and natural resources; strengthening institutional capacity and developing human resources; technology transfer, improving research and development capacity...
