2015 was a successful year for Vietnamese e-sports with many professional and impressive tournaments. In particular, the Vietnamese team won the championship of the CrossFire Asia e-sports tournament – CFSI which ended yesterday in Ho Chi Minh City.

Crossfire Stars Invitational Vietnam 2015 is an international tournament gathering 8 teams from 5 countries: Russia, Korea, Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam. This is the first time Vietnam has hosted an international tournament with Crossfire. The opening ceremony of Crossfire Stars Invitational Vietnam 2015 was attended by Mr. Le Doan Hop - Former Minister of Information and Communications of Vietnam, Chairman of Vietnam Digital Communications Association; Mr. Vu Hoang Lien - Chairman of Vietnam Internet Association.
After two days of intense competition, the dream final match between host Vietnam Super CTV and team Pacific Macta from the Philippines lasted for more than 2 hours. The close score chases made the more than 3,000 live viewers hold their breath in suspense. Finally, the Hanoi boys won spectacularly and lifted the Championship Cup, "breaking the curse" of Vietnam being runner-up in the CrossFire event.
