Manny Pacquiao will face Timothy Bradley in his first boxing match since his loss to Floyd Mayweather in May 2015.

Pacquiao has met the 32-year-old Bradley twice. In 2012, the American won a controversial decision. However, in the rematch in 2014, Pacquiao successfully defended his WBO welterweight title.

The April 9th match will be Manny Pacquiao’s first time in the ring after losing to Floyd Mayweather in the “boxing match of the century” in May 2015. Like the previous two times, in the third time, Pacquiao will still fight Bradley at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, Las Vegas (USA).

Pacquiao, 37, suffered a shoulder ligament injury before the Mayweather fight and underwent surgery four days later. The eight-time world champion had hinted at his plans to retire after achieving his dream of fighting Mayweather. However, in October 2015, Pacquiao said he would return to the ring in 2016.

Pacquiao's promoter, Bob Arum, said the Filipino boxer has not yet decided on a specific retirement date. "I don't want to talk about it. I don't want to say a few words to attract attention because I don't want people to say, 'Hey, this is his last fight, come and see it,' and then it's not like that, and it's not Manny's last fight," Arum said.

Pacquiao has a career record of 57 wins, six losses and two draws. The Filipino has 38 knockout victories. Timothy Bradley, a two-time WBO welterweight champion, has 33 wins, one loss and one draw, including 13 knockout victories.
