Dien Chau: Authorities seize 19kg of firecrackers and violent toys.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of November 18th, the Economic and Drug Crime Investigation Team of Dien Chau Police arrested Nguyen Lao in Dien Xuan commune, Dien Chau district, for the crime of possessing firecrackers.

Acting on information from the public, the Dien Chau Police's Economic and Drug Crime Investigation Team raided the watch repair shop of Nguyen Lao (born in 1977) at the intersection of Dien Xuan commune, Dien Chau district.

Here, the police discovered and seized 19 kg of various types of foreign-made fireworks, including 9 boxes of 36-shot firecrackers and 3 boxes of string firecrackers. They also seized a cardboard box containing violent children's toys, including 44 toy guns manufactured in China.

The confiscated items, including violent game guns, were also found at the store in Laos.

The suspect Nguyen Lao confessed that he bought the goods for resale.

Thus, from the beginning of November until now, the Dien Chau Police force has arrested suspects in 3 cases of trading and possessing firecrackers, seizing 37.4 kg of various types of firecrackers.
