Water supply station worth 500 billion VND inaugurated.

(Baonghean.vn) - After nearly 9 months of intensive construction, on November 28th, Song Lam Water Supply Joint Stock Company held a ceremony to inaugurate the raw water supply system for clean water production plants in Vinh City with a capacity of 200,000 m3/day.

Attending the inauguration ceremony were: Comrade Ho Duc Phoc – Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Comrade Nguyen Xuan Duong – Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; and other comrades in the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Committee.

The project to supply raw water to water treatment plants in Vinh City has a total investment of nearly 500 billion VND, including a water pumping station built on an area of ​​over 3000m².²Along with a water supply pipeline system over 13,000m long passing through 5 communes and the town of Nam Dan, supplying water to the Cau Bach Water Treatment Plant and the Hung Vinh Water Treatment Plant. Thanks to the high efforts of the investor and contractor, the close attention and guidance of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial People's Committee, and the active coordination of departments, agencies, and the People's Committee of Nam Dan district, the project was implemented and completed, put into operation 3 months ahead of schedule.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Huynh Thanh Dien delivered a speech, highly appreciating the investor's efforts in overcoming difficulties and accelerating the construction progress of the project.

The completion of the raw water supply system project for water treatment plants in Vinh City means that people in Vinh City and surrounding areas will have access to clean, high-quality water, replacing the raw water from canals that are always scarce during the dry season and are becoming increasingly polluted, contributing to improving the quality of life for the people.
