Learning from previous years, this year we do not accept pre-bookings, but anyone who needs to rent a car for a certain day can call that day to receive a longer contract."
In general, the price of self-drive car rental during Tet increases by about 20 - 30% compared to normal days. If the rental price on normal days ranges from 500,000 - 600,000 VND/day, during Tet the price will increase to 800 - 1 million VND/day for popular cars, from 5 to 7 seats. According to our research, normally self-drive car rental establishments only limit customers to travel within 250 km, if exceeding, customers have to pay from 1,500 to 2,000 VND/km extra. But during Tet, many establishments increase the limited number of kilometers to 300 km, some establishments even stipulate that the price will not increase compared to normal days.

In addition, choosing a reputable place to book a car early will save a significant amount of money. Currently in Vinh city, large, well-known car rental establishments such as: Hong Minh Company Limited (Nguyen Trai Street), Hiep Suong Trading Company Limited (Nguyen Phong Sac Street), Mai Anh and Hai Thanh self-drive car rental establishments (Tran Hung Dao Street) ... are currently out of cars for rent during Tet. However, many small-scale self-drive car rental establishments that have not yet accepted contracts at this time still have cars to serve the needs of customers traveling for long periods and during the day during Tet holidays.
