The Honda Lead scooter model has just officially surpassed the sales milestone of 1 million units in the Vietnamese market, after 7 years of presence.

Sau nhiều thế hệ nâng cấp, mẫu xe tay ga này cũng dần có diện mạo thời trang hơn hẳn so với thế hệ đầu tiên có mặt vào năm 2008.
After many generations of upgrades, this scooter model has gradually become more fashionable than the first generation that appeared in 2008.

Lead was first launched in 1982 in Japan with two engine versions: 50cc and 80cc. In the Vietnamese market, since its official introduction in 2008, Lead has always been among the best-selling motorbikes on the market.

The strongest point that has helped Lead create “waves” in the Vietnamese motorbike market over the past 7 years is its unrivaled large capacity luggage compartment. Even in the current generation, the luggage compartment of Lead has been expanded to 37 liters, allowing consumers to store 2 medium-sized half-head helmets and many other personal items.

After many generations of upgrades, this scooter model has gradually become more fashionable than the first generation that appeared in 2008. The current generation has a prominent front light system with V-shaped LED positioning lights, a sharp display clock face and a liquid crystal screen.

The convenience of Lead is also increasing with the integration of the seat and trunk opening function at the same button, the vehicle is equipped with a combi brake system and side stand switch. The latest version uses a new generation smart engine eSP 125cc with Idling Stop temporary engine shutdown system.

To mark the 1 millionth vehicle milestone, the Japanese automaker announced that it will apply a wide-ranging incentive program for consumers. Specifically, all customers who buy a Lead in November 2015 will receive a genuine Honda helmet and a Honda Plus membership card.

With the Honda Plus membership card, consumers will enjoy a series of insurance benefits in cases such as car robbery, theft with evidence, loss of unknown cause, fire, accident, death, etc.

Honda Vietnam also said that for losses caused by robbery, theft with evidence, accidents, fires, explosions, and deaths, consumers will be compensated 100% of the vehicle value according to the suggested retail price. In case of loss due to unknown causes, members will be compensated 80% of the suggested retail price.
