UN calls on Europe to unite in face of migrant crisis

(Baonghean.vn) - The United Nations migration agency on February 23 criticized the "restrictive practices" imposed by many countries including Austria, Slovenia and Macedonia.

At the same time, the agency also called on all of Europe to make efforts to come up with a coordinated approach to share responsibility in the crisis.

“Every week, it seems like more European countries are focusing on preventing refugees and migrants from entering their borders, rather than managing the flow of people and working together to find common solutions,” the UN High Commissioner for Migration said in a statement urging countries to provide clear, specific details on their criteria for accepting migrants.
