The Duc Hoang Temple is situated on a large, elevated piece of land and has preserved its original state, ensuring its solemnity and antiquity.

This is a cultural and spiritual site, built by the people in 1505 to worship the deities who contributed to "protecting the nation and the people," with the central figure being "Sát Hải Đại Vương" Hoàng Tá Thốn, a general who made significant contributions to the resistance against the Mongol invasion in the 13th century.

The delegation visited Bao Nham Church - a Gothic-style architectural work built in 1888 in Bao Thanh commune, located next to National Highway 7A, about 50km north of Vinh City.

Near the church is a rocky outcrop connected to a cave – one of the beautiful scenic spots of Bao Thanh commune.

Additionally, there are 24 small stone towers, each 2.5 meters high. In front of the cathedral are two elaborately carved stone lions. Bao Nham Stone Church is not only a place of spiritual activity for the local parishioners but also a tourist attraction for hundreds of thousands of visitors from near and far.
