Mr. Nguyen Xuan Quyet, Chairman of An Hoa Commune People's Committee, said: The commune has 145 hectares of salt, from 2013 to now, the State has supported over 1 billion VND for salt farmers to maintain salt fields and build filters. Thanks to that, it has contributed to reducing labor in the salt fields. However, the way of making salt here from the past to the present is still traditional, all stages of making salt must be done by human power, low productivity, the average household participating in the salt industry only reaches 7-10 million VND/household/2 workers/year. Up to now, the whole commune has about 15 hectares of abandoned salt.
