In Keng Du commune, leaders of Nghe An Department of Transport presented 95 gifts to 15 poor households and 80 primary school students with a total value of over 40 million VND. At the same time, they handed over 3 gratitude houses and 3 savings books to 6 poor households in the commune.

Keng Du commune has 100% ethnic minorities, the area is far from the district center so life and transportation are difficult. The poverty rate of the commune is high, accounting for 85%.
