It is understood that all residents in the building have now been evacuated, totaling about 130 people.

Interfax news agency quoted Artyom Belousov, an official working at the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, saying that there are still 6 people whose whereabouts have not been determined.

Most apartment buildings in Russia are supplied with natural gas for cooking. The cause of the explosion is still being clarified.
