Nghe An: Poor households receive 100% subsidy for passion fruit seeds

(Baonghean.vn) – That is one of the contents of Decision 09/2016 signed and issued by Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dinh Viet Hong on January 18, 2016.

This is the Decision on amending and supplementing a number of articles of Decision 87/2014 of the Provincial People's Committee promulgating regulations on a number of policies to support investment in agricultural and rural development in Nghe An province.

Accordingly, for passion fruit trees grown in the planning area, the province subsidizes 100% of the seeds for poor households, 70% for near-poor households, and 50% for the remaining households to buy disease-free seeds.

The province will support 5 million VND/ha to prepare new land for growing passion fruit and 70% of the value of small-scale irrigation projects for passion fruit trees approved by the district People's Committee (equipment and materials) but not more than 70 million VND/project.

For new disease-free orange and tangerine varieties, the province supports 10,000 VND/tree; supports land preparation for planting new orange and tangerine varieties at 5 million VND/ha.

This decision also stipulates specific support levels of the province to purchase biological products and make biological bedding in pig and chicken farming.
