At that time, a fresh cement tanker with license plate 37C – 045.09 belonging to Vuong Anh Company, driven by Nguyen Van Yen, overturned and blocked the road. As a result, Nguyen Quang Hung, who was selling sticky rice on the roadside, died on the spot, and Lo Van Tinh, a 10th grade student at Ky Son High School, died on the way to the emergency room, and another person was injured.

The traffic accident happened right at the intersection at the beginning of the bridge, causing traffic congestion.
