In 2015, agricultural extension activities at all levels implemented many effective models such as: BG 1 high-quality rice production model following Viet GAP in Hung Nguyen district; safe vegetable production model following Viet GAP in Vinh city, Dien Chau, Do Luong, Nam Dan, Anh Son, Nam Dan, Thai Hoa town; tea planting and care following Viet GAP in Thanh Chuong, Con Cuong...

Many models from the central budget on comprehensive intensive cultivation of new rice varieties; irrigation models for sugarcane; models applying artificial insemination techniques combined with community veterinary medicine; models modernizing offshore fishing fleets... have also been deployed.

The model of growing jujubes intercropped with oranges of Mr. Phan Van Vien in Dong Thanh hamlet, Dong Hieu has only been in operation for 6 months but promises to yield a harvest of 60-80 million/ha/season.

The provincial agricultural extension center organized training courses for 44 grassroots cadres and farmers. Guided and trained 12 courses for commune-level agricultural extension workers according to Decision 99/2014 of the provincial People's Committee. In addition, 8 agricultural vocational training courses were conducted for rural workers: mushroom growing, chicken raising, orange growing, tea growing, and cow raising.

In 2016, the Provincial Agricultural Extension Center determined to carry out a number of key tasks: Organizing capacity and professional training for the agricultural extension team re-established under Decision 99 of the Provincial People's Committee. Implementing vocational training programs for rural workers, a number of programs, projects, and joint contracts...

At the conference, delegates discussed, proposed and shared a number of issues, such as: It is necessary to build models of new plant varieties with high resistance, introduce plant varieties with the ability to improve soil and water resources to transfer to the people. Support investment with focus, not spread out, prioritizing products with high commodity value and the ability to replicate. Propose to provide timely funding for the grassroots agricultural extension team, and annually have a propaganda budget for agricultural extension stations.

Coordinate with units in the industry to integrate the implementation content. The stations need to create a close relationship and actively advise the district to facilitate the operation process.

The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development awarded Certificates of Merit to 22 individuals, the Provincial Agricultural Extension Center awarded Certificates of Merit to 28 individuals.
