New information about the death of a woman in Hoang Mai Town

(Baonghean.vn) - The Investigation Police Department of Hoang Mai town said: they are coordinating with the Forensic Center of Nghe An province to examine the body of the victim Nguyen Thi Huong (62 years old) who died at her private home, Tan Tien block, Quynh Thien ward, Hoang Mai town, discovered on January 5.

Authorities are blocking off the scene to investigate the case.

According to information provided by the victim’s family: “Ms. Nguyen Thi Huong died on the floor next to the safe and next to it was a crowbar and a long-handled knife left by the perpetrator. Ms. Huong died fully clothed and showed signs of struggle before being hit on the head by a heavy object.”

Hoang Mai town police said they have not yet determined how much property was lost.

According to the victim’s family, Mrs. Huong lives alone with cancer. Her three children (two boys, one girl) work in the South.

Mrs. Huong's house has been broken into four times. The most recent time was two months ago.
