More than 150 poor households in Keng Du (Ky Son) received gifts

(Baonghean.vn) - On January 12, Nghe An Red Cross Society and BNI Nghe An Business Association presented gifts to agencies, units and households with special difficulties in Keng Du commune (Ky Son).

Leaders of Nghe An Red Cross Society gave Mr. Cut Pho Khut's family (Huoi Phuon 1 village) a breeding cow to develop livestock farming.

The Provincial Red Cross presented 3 families: Mr. Cut Pho Khut (Huoi Phuon 1 village), Mr. Luong Pho Phai and Mr. Cut Pho Thang (both in Huoi Phuon 2 village), each family with 1 breeding cow. These are the families with the most difficult circumstances in the border commune of Keeng Du.

Giving gifts to Mr. Luong Pho Phai's family in Huoi Phuon 2 village. Mr. Phai is 52 years old, a widower, raising 4 children alone.

This activity is part of the program "Tet for the poor and Agent Orange victims" Spring Binh Than launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society.

BNI Nghe An Business Association gives gifts to families with special difficulties.

On the same day, the Red Cross in collaboration with the BNI Nghe An Business Association presented a 43-inch TV to Keeng Du Border Guard Station, a water purifier to Keeng Du Commune People's Committee and 150 gifts to families with special difficulties, poor students, disabled students and orphans.
