Mr. Son: Raw cassava yield 40 tons/ha

(Baonghean.vn) - Anh Son farmers have started harvesting 1,200 hectares of cassava, concentrated in the communes of Tho Son, Binh Son, Thanh Son, Tuong Son... of which nearly 100% of the area is high-yield cassava.

Cassava will be imported for Hoa Son cassava starch factory.

People in Hoa Son commune said that this year's average cassava yield is 35 - 40 tons/ha. It is imported to Hoa Son cassava starch processing factory at a price of 1,300 - 1,400 VND/kg. The value is 56 million VND/ha, after deducting costs, the profit is about 30 million VND/ha/year.
