Quy Hop has a total forest area of ​​over 47,042 hectares, of which 33,598 hectares are natural forests and 13,443 hectares are planted forests. The district's forest coverage is nearly 50%. In 2015, there were no forest fires in the district.

The district has completed 26 PCCCR combat plans from district to commune level, and organized commitment signings in up to 219 hamlets and villages.

Forest rangers closely coordinated with relevant agencies to detect many cases of illegal timber transportation and trading.

In the whole district, 81 cases of forestry law violations were detected and handled, of which: The Forest Protection Department detected, arrested and handled 66 cases, confiscating 119,228 m3 of various types of wood, 2,200 kg of coal, 27,200 kg of other forest products, 01 homemade trailer, collecting more than 603 million VND for the State budget. Quy Hop District Police detected, arrested and handled 15 cases, confiscating 34.32 m3 of various types of wood, collecting 220 million VND for the State budget.
