Preparing for the contest "Learning about new cooperative models"

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of March 31, the Organizing Committee of the contest "Learning about the model of new cooperatives" in Nghe An province had a working session to discuss preparations for launching the contest.

Overview of the working session

The contest is organized with a large scale, genre, and target audience to implement the Law on Cooperatives 2012. At the same time, it introduces and promotes typical cooperative and cooperative alliance models that contribute to the development of the collective economy.

Contestants are Vietnamese organizations and individuals and foreign organizations and individuals legally operating in Vietnam.

The content of the contest is Learning about the Law on Cooperatives 2012 (focusing on the principles, values, nature of cooperatives, benefits that cooperatives bring); introducing new cooperative models; introducing typical advanced cooperatives and cooperative unions, effective production and business activities, good experiences, good initiatives in the organization and operation of cooperatives and cooperative unions.

Meeting participants contributed their opinions: There needs to be a solution to attract the widespread participation of local and central press agencies.

The contest was launched by the Vietnam Cooperative Alliance with two forms: Contest in the press (on all types of television, radio, print, and electronic newspapers with genres of reportage, reflection, interview, and investigation) and Contest on stage with genres of Drama and skit.

For the press competition, based on the results of the three preliminary rounds, the Central Organizing Committee will select the best works for the final round and award prizes at the end of December 2016 at the Conference to honor advanced models.

The stage competition lasts until December 30, 2016, of which the commune level will be completed before August 30, 2016, the district level before September 30, 2016, the provincial level before October 30, 2016, the cluster level before November 30, 2016 and the Central level will organize a national final round and award ceremony at the end of December 2016.

At the meeting, members of the Organizing Committee said: For the contest to be truly of quality, careful preparation and the participation of localities and related units, especially press and information and propaganda units, are needed to create a widespread effect.

There are solutions to attract the participation of a large number of local and central journalists. It is necessary to develop detailed and specific rules for both types of competitions. In the composition of the Jury, two separate groups should be established to judge the two forms of competition: the press competition and the stage competition.
