On February 22, Cua Lo Town Police said that this unit is temporarily detaining two subjects Vo Van Cong (born 1998) and Nguyen Dinh Dung (born 1998), both residing in Nghi Loc district, for robbery.

Previously, on February 18, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Hoa (born in 1973), residing in Nghi Huong ward, Cua Lo town, went to the police station to report that on the afternoon of February 11, she and her friend were on their way home from work through Nghi Huong market, Cua Lo town when two young men on a motorbike approached and robbed their handbag.

In the bag there was more than 1 million VND and a phone worth more than 5 million VND and many other personal documents.

After receiving the report, Cua Lo Town Police focused on investigating and verifying, and on February 22, decided to urgently arrest Cong and Dung. At the police station, the two subjects confessed that due to lack of money for personal expenses, they invited each other to rob property.

It is known that Cong and Dung are bad elements who often commit petty theft in the area. The case is currently being further investigated and clarified by the police.
