(Baonghean.vn)- In hamlet 6, Trung Son commune, Do Luong district, when the excavator was digging at a depth of 3m, it hit an intact bomb left over from the war.

On the morning of March 8, after receiving the news, the Do Luong District Military Command and engineering forces were present at the scene to remove the unexploded bomb from the area.

The engineering force lifted the bomb off the ground to the assembly area in Hong Son commune to detonate it.

This bomb was discovered in the garden of Mr. Hoang Dinh Tam (62 years old), in Hamlet 6, Trung Son Commune. Mr. Dang Dinh Thin, the excavator driver hired by Mr. Hoang Dinh Tam's family, said: when the excavator was 3m above the ground, the bucket touched the intact bomb, measuring 1.4m long, 0.3m in diameter, and weighing nearly 250kg.
