(Baonghean.vn) - SLNA's new signing Odah continued his scoring streak in the third match of the FLC Cup in Thanh Hoa, helping the Nghe An team thrash Than Quang Ninh 4-1.

In their third match of the FLC Cup, Song Lam Nghe An faced Than Quang Ninh. This was a relatively tough opponent, as they had strengthened their squad in preparation for the 2016 V-League.

However, contrary to expert predictions, SLNA had a favorable match. In the 2nd minute, Khắc Ngọc scored the opening goal, putting Coach Như Thuần's team on the defensive.

New signing Odah proves he's a formidable player for SLNA.

In the 11th minute, Than Quang Ninh equalized 1-1 after a defender from Nghe An province committed a foul inside the penalty area. This was also the final score of the first half.

In the second half, coach Ngo Quang Truong brought on new signing Odah, and just minutes after coming on, the Nigerian striker made his mark by scoring a goal in the 51st minute, putting SLNA ahead 2-1. Odah's goal once again proved his worth, justifying the huge salary SLNA is paying him.

Odah's goal also made the match much more favorable for SLNA. Just 7 minutes later, Viet Nguyen scored to increase the score to 3-1.

Towards the end of the match, Khắc Ngọc further increased the score to 4-1 for SLNA.

This is SLNA's second victory in the FLC Cup; in the previous match, SLNA lost to Thanh Hoa by a significant margin.
