(Baonghean.vn) - Mr. Le Van Hai - Chairman of the People's Committee of Xuan Thanh Commune (Yen Thanh) said that the local government has just found 3 ancient royal decrees, which were conferred by feudal dynasties on Angels and Humans who had contributed to protecting the country and the people and were worshiped at Gam Temple.

According to local people, these 3 royal decrees were originally from an ancient temple, but were lost over 70 years ago due to war and fighting. After many years of searching, through various sources of information, the local authorities of Xuan Thanh commune found them in a house in Hung Nguyen district, where they had been kept for the past 30 years.

These three royal decrees are 0.5m wide and 1.2m long, all printed in Chinese characters, clearly stating the merits and honors and assigned to the people of ancient Xuan Nguyen village (present-day Xuan Thanh commune) the responsibility of building a temple to worship and protect.

Gam Temple - Pagoda, Xuan Thanh Commune, Yen Thanh District is the only relic cluster in Nghe An province located in the same area. In 2007, it was recognized as a provincial historical and cultural relic.
