(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of March 19, 2016, the Party Committee, People's Committee and people of Nghi Hoa commune (Nghi Loc district) held a ceremony to receive the Certificate recognizing the commune as having achieved the New Rural Area standard. Attending the ceremony was Comrade Le Van Khang –Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Department. ComradeVi Luu Binh - Deputy Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Chief of the New Rural Development Coordination Office of Nghe An.

Representatives from the Provincial New Rural Development Coordination Office presented the certificate of achieving New Rural Development standards to Nghi Hoa commune.

Implementing the national goal of building new rural areas, within more than 4 years, Nghi Hoa commune has mobilized nearly 100 billion VND to fulfill all 19 criteria. Currently, 100% of the inter-village road system has been concreted, the average per capita income has reached 30 million VND/person/year; the poverty rate has decreased to 3.4%. Two-thirds of the schools and health stations have met national standards...

On this occasion, four collectives and four individuals from Nghi Hoa commune received Certificates of Commendation from the Provincial People's Committee. The Nghi Loc District People's Committee also awarded Certificates of Merit to five individuals and five collectives from the commune for their outstanding achievements in the New Rural Development movement.
