(Baonghean.vn) - On March 26, Thanh Tien commune (Thanh Chuong) solemnly held a ceremony to receive the National New Rural Standard certificate and the emulation flag of the Provincial People's Committee. Attending the ceremony were comradesVo Viet Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee - Secretary of Vinh City Party Committee,Le Ngoc Hoa - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representativeProvincial New Rural Development Coordination Office, key leaders of Thanh Chuong district.

Many people from all walks of life attended the ceremony to receive the certificate of recognition of meeting the new rural standards of Thanh Tien commune.

Selected as a key commune in the construction of new rural areas in Thanh Chuong, over the past years, Thanh Tien commune has proactively and actively invested many resources, gradually built plans and implementation roadmaps with high determination. After 5 years of building new rural areas, Thanh Tien has mobilized 106 billion VND to harden roads, upgrade all pumping stations and irrigation canals to ensure irrigation needs for 200 hectares of rice and vegetables in the area.

The school infrastructure system has been invested in, the quality of teaching and learning has been improved, 3 schools have been recognized as meeting national standards. 100% of villages and hamlets have standard cultural houses and sports areas, 11/13 hamlets have met the standards of cultural villages. The commune has been recognized as meeting national standards for level II health. Environmental sanitation work has been focused on.

In addition to socio-economic development, Thanh Tien is also a unit that performs well in Security - National Defense tasks. The Party Committee has been clean and strong for many years, the mass organizations have operated effectively, contributing to the work of mobilizing the masses to join hands in building new rural areas. With great determination, Thanh Tien has completed 19/19 criteria and received a Decision from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to recognize the commune as meeting the NTM standards. On this occasion, Thanh Tien cadres and people were also honored to receive the emulation flag of the Provincial People's Committee for their leading achievements in the emulation movement in 2015. On this occasion, the Provincial People's Committee also awarded Certificates of Merit to 4 collectives and 4 individuals with outstanding achievements in the process of building NTM.

* Cũng trong ngày 26/3, Quỳnh Hưng (Quỳnh Lưu) làm lễ công bố xã đạt chuẩn NTM. Tới dự có đồng chí Vi Lưu Bình – Phó Giám đốc Sở nông nghiệp và phát triển nông thôn tỉnh, đồng chí Hoàng Danh Lai – PBT, Chủ tịch UBND huyện, đại diện các ban, nghành cấp tỉnh, huyện, lãnh đạo và nhân dân xã Quỳnh Hưng.

Đồng chí Vi Lưu Bình, Phó Giám đốc Sở NN và PTNT, Chánh văn phòng điều phối NTM tỉnh trao bằng đạt chuẩn NTM cho xã Quỳnh Hưng.

Sau 5 năm triển khai thực hiện chương trình xây dựng NTM, xã Quỳnh Hưng đã huy động được trên 282 tỷ đồng đầu tư xây dựng NTM. Trong đó có hơn một nửa nguồn vốn đầu tư (tương đương với trên 197 tỷ đồng) là do nhân dân đóng góp. Cùng với đó, có các hộ dân đã tự nguyện hiến đất hơn 7000m2, đóng góp hàng ngàn ngày công để xây dựng đường giao thông nông thôn.

Đến nay, 100% đường trục xã, đường liên thôn, đường ngõ xóm và đường trục chính dẫn ra đồng được cứng hóa. Hệ thống trạm y tế, trường học, nhà văn hóa các thôn được xây dựng khang trang. Xã Quỳnh Hưng đã hoàn thành 19 tiêu chí trong bộ tiêu chí Quốc gia về xây dựng NTM. Với những kết quả đó, xã Quỳnh Hưng được chủ tịch UBND tỉnh quyết định công nhận xã đạt chuẩn NTM vào cuối năm 2015.

Phát biểu tại buổi lễ, đồng chí Vi Lưu Bình - Phó giám đốc Sở nông nghiệp và phát triển nông thôn tỉnh đánh giá cao những kết quả mà xã Quỳnh Hưng đã đạt được trong thực hiện chương trình mục tiêu quốc gia về xây dựng NTM. Đồng chí đề nghị Đảng bộ, chính quyền và nhân dân xã Quỳnh Hưng cần phát huy nội lực, đoàn kết xây dựng hệ thống chính trị vững mạnh, nâng cao năng lực lãnh đạo của tổ chức Đảng, chỉ đạo điều hành của chính quyền. Tiếp tục nâng cao chất lượng các tiêu chí theo hướng bền vững. Tiếp tục làm tốt công tác y tế, giáo dục, chăm lo công tác xã hội để cho nhân dân có cuộc sống ngày càng tốt đẹp hơn.

Cũng tại buổi lễ, thay mặt lãnh đạo tỉnh, đồng chí Vi Lưu Bình - Phó Giám đốc sở nông nghiệp và phát triển nông thôn tỉnh đã trao bằng công nhận xã đạt chuẩn nông thôn mới cho xã Quỳnh Hưng và trao 500 triệu đồng cho xã xây dựng công trình phúc lợi trong thời gian tới.
