(Baonghean.vn) - From the afternoon of April 9 to the early morning of April 10, tornadoes occurred in almost all communes and towns in the two districts of Tuong Duong and Ky Son, injuring many people and blowing off the roofs of hundreds of houses.

By dawn on April 10, many other localities such as Tam Quang and Tam Dinh (Tuong Duong) were still affected by tornadoes accompanied by heavy rain.

Currently, authorities are going to localities to count the damage from the above tornadoes.

According to incomplete statistics from the localities of Tuong Duong and Ky Son districts, the tornado blew away a series of corrugated iron roofs and injured many people, most concentrated in Hoa Ly and Xop Tu villages, My Ly commune. In Hoa Ly village, a worker who was clearing the land for the Hoa Ly resettlement area had his arm cut by a corrugated iron roof and needed more than 20 stitches. In addition, in this locality, there were also a number of people who were hit by tree branches and had to be taken to the commune health stations for emergency treatment.
