Controlling a 17-hour-old man who was holed up on the roof of a 4-story building

After 17 hours, the police successfully controlled a young man showing signs of being high on drugs who was holed up on the roof of a 4-story house in Dinh Cong Thuong.

On the afternoon of February 28, Lieutenant Colonel Le Quoc Tuan - Deputy Head of Fire Prevention and Fighting Police Department No. 8 said that at around 5 pm the same day, the police successfully controlled the young man who was barricading himself in a 4-storey house in Lane 18 Dinh Cong Thuong (Hoang Mai, Hanoi).

According to the lieutenant colonel, after 17 hours of holding out, this young man was fortunately not affected by any health or injury, only suffering from minor scratches. However, he needed to be examined to confirm his health condition. From the time of receiving the report, the unit had to mobilize 20 soldiers to take turns at the scene to assist in mobilizing and rescuing this subject.

The police have taken the man to the police station to clarify his identity, motive, and resuscitate him. Initially, the young man was identified as born in 1995, from Nam Dinh, and currently residing in Gia Lam, Hanoi.
