Launching the Children's Fine Arts Award of Nghe An province

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of April 20, at Dang Thai Mai Secondary School, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the Department of Education and Training, the Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, and Nghe An Provincial Youth Union organized the launching ceremony of the 2nd Nghe An Provincial Children's Fine Arts Award - 2016.

This is an activity within the Government's Action Program to strengthen education, foster morality, knowledge, health and aesthetics, and continuously improve good human qualities for Vietnamese children.

The award is organized with the aim of encouraging children's art activities inside and outside of school, gradually socializing children's drawing activities.

At the same time, through this award, talents will be discovered to organize training and fostering. The award will also have a positive impact on the aesthetic education process of children and adolescents, creating motivation and passion for artistic creation.

The contest was launched throughout Nghe An province, for all children from 6 to under 16 years old. The painting content focuses on the themes of homeland, protecting national sovereignty, children's love for Uncle Ho, national heroes, family, friends, and teachers.

The Organizing Committee will award 2 First Prizes, 5 Second Prizes, 8 Third Prizes and 10 Consolation Prizes. The time for receiving entries will start from September 15 to 5:00 p.m. on September 30 and the award ceremony is expected to be held at the end of October 2016.
