Nghi Loc: Arrested 47 subjects gambling and lottery

(Baonghean.vn) - During the 3 peak months, Nghi Loc District Police discovered and arrested 12 cases, 47 subjects gambling and trading lottery numbers. The seized evidence was more than 31 million VND and many related assets.

Nghi Loc District Police Department has prosecuted 1 case, 6 subjects; administratively handled 11 cases, 41 subjects.

Typically, on January 5, 2016, Nghi Loc District Police successfully broke up the “116B” case at the house of Hoang Anh Tuan (born in 1992, residing in Hamlet 9, Nghi Thinh Commune). Here, the police arrested 6 subjects who were gambling.

5 out of 6 gamblers in Project "116B" were arrested by Nghi Loc Police.

The subjects include: Hoang Anh Tuan (born in 1992); Le Van Tuyen (born in 1990); Pham Van Quan (born in 1995); Vuong Dao Hung (born in 1986), all residing in Nghi Thinh commune; Nguyen Ke Binh (born in 1990), residing in Nghi Xa commune; Dang Doan Hung (born in 1992), residing in Nghi Long commune.

The seized exhibits were 21,550 million VND, 6 motorbikes, and 6 mobile phones. Through the investigation, the subjects confessed that from November 2015 until their arrest, they had organized gambling for money 7 times.
