Tran Ngoc Lan Khue makes it onto the list of the 50 most beautiful women in the world.

Tran Ngoc Lan Khue, a Top 11 finalist at Miss World 2015, has just been selected by Global Beauties as one of the 50 most beautiful faces in the world this past year. She is the only Vietnamese representative to make this list, standing alongside many outstanding beauties from around the globe.

Tran Ngoc Lan Khue has helped Vietnam rise in the rankings on the world beauty map.

The rankings are based on the results of major competitions such as Miss World, Miss Universe, Miss International, Miss Supranational, etc.

Global Beauties will select the top 5, representing each continent, to be named Miss Grand Slam from the aforementioned top 50 list. Before Lan Khuê, Hương Giang also won this title in the Asian region.

In the Asian region, Australia has 4 representatives, the Philippines has 4 representatives, and Thailand has 2 representatives. These will be formidable competitors for Lan Khuê in the race for the Miss Grand Slam title this year.

In an interview with a VietnamPlus reporter last February, Lan Khuê shared: “Through beauty contests, I realized that a beautiful woman doesn't necessarily have beautiful features; what makes her attractive is her aura. A woman's aura depends a lot on time. Time helps a woman grow, mature, develop more thoughtful perspectives, and improve herself.”

"Of course, you also need to take care of yourself because appearance is also a way to market yourself to people. You need experience to gain confidence, and then a woman will gradually become more beautiful."

Previously, according to the ranking of beauty pageant results over the past 10 years (2006 to 2015) published by the Global Beauties website on February 14th, Vietnamese beauty had risen 11 places, from 35th to 24th in the world.
