With 5 goals scored in the final round, plus a brilliant performance on the field, Quang Nam surpassed captain Ngo Hoang Thinh and captain Duy Thanh of U21 Ninh Thuan to win the double "Best player of the tournament", "Top scorer (5 goals). At the same time, he also won an official spot in the U21 Vietnam team to compete in the Thanh Nien Newspaper International U21 Tournament in 2012.
