Group of young men assaulted the vice principal in front of the school gate

(Baonghean.vn) - Seeing his student being beaten by a group of young men, the vice principal named Trung tried to intervene but was seriously injured by the group.

On the afternoon of March 28, Lieutenant Colonel Thai Khac Thong - Head of Do Luong District Police said that the police had detained 5 suspects for intentionally causing injury in the beating of a teacher and students at Do Luong III High School on March 21.

Accordingly, Duong Trong Phuc (born in 1992, residing in Thinh Son commune, Do Luong district) was criminally detained, 4 related subjects including: Thai Khac Hoi (born in 1992, residing in Thinh Son commune, Do Luong district); Nguyen Tat Loc (born in 1993, residing in Tan Son commune, Do Luong district); Nguyen Van Phu and Nguyen Van Ngoc (both born in 1993, residing in Hoa Son commune, Do Luong district) were administratively detained.

According to Lieutenant Colonel Thong, at around 5:00 p.m. on March 21, Phuc and his group went to Do Luong III High School (in Quang Son Commune, Do Luong District) to play. There, Phuc had a conflict with Tran Van Binh (a student at the school) and beat Binh right in front of the school gate.

Seeing the students being beaten, Mr. Tran Van Trung (Vice Principal of Do Luong III High School) rushed out to stop them and was immediately attacked by this group of young men.

Because people near the school came to stop them, Phuc's group ran away. Teacher Trung and Binh suffered minor injuries and scratches on their faces.

The incident was quickly reported to the Do Luong district police. By the evening of the same day, the Do Luong district police had identified and arrested Phuc and his accomplices.

The incident is currently under investigation.
