Belgium intensifies hunt for "man in hat"
(Baonghean.vn) - Belgian prosecutors on April 7 released a video recording the image of the "man in the hat", stepping up efforts to find the third suspect behind the attack that killed at least 17 people at Brussels airport on March 22.
“We especially appeal to the public if they have captured images of the suspect to provide information to the investigation agency. All information will be handled carefully,” said the agency’s spokesman.

New traces of the "third person" found
Newly obtained footage released by Belgian authorities shows a man leaving the airport – first walking normally, then running away. The suspect then moves throughout central Brussels, the European Union (EU) region where many institutions are located.
At one location, he was found to have taken off and discarded a white coat. Another spokesman for the prosecution said: “We are very interested in that coat.”
The “man in the hat” has been linked to the terrorist behind the Paris attacks in November 2015. Two other men implicated in the Brussels airport bombings have been identified as Ibrahim El Bakraoui and Najim Laachraoui.
Following the airport bombings, another blast killed at least 14 people at a subway station. A total of 32 people were killed and hundreds more injured in the attacks that took place in March.
