Nghe An: Tractor trailer crashes into 2 cars, 7 people hospitalized

(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of February 21, in Nghi Yen commune (Nghi Loc district), a series of traffic accidents occurred between a container truck and 2 cars, sending 7 people to the hospital.

Tractor trailer caused multiple accidents.

At the scene of the accident, the tractor with license plate 36C - 08916 pulling a container with license plate 51R - 05535 running from North to South, driven by Dang Van Thuc, born in 1983, residing in Bim Son Town (Thanh Hoa), crashed into a Hyundai i10 car with license plate 37A -27689 driven by Ms. Pham Thi Thao, with 2 people on board while traveling from South to North and turning around on National Highway 1A.

Hyundai i10 and Kia Morning were both badly damaged.

Then, the container truck lost control and crossed the median strip across the road and continued to crash into a Kia Morning car with license plate 36A-16952 driven by Mr. Nguyen Huy Hieu, born in 1983, residing in Nghi Son district (Thanh Hoa) with 5 people on board while traveling in the South-North direction. The chain accident occurred, causing 7 people in the 2 cars to be hospitalized. The 2 cars were severely damaged.

Nghi Loc district traffic police force promptly arrived to investigate the cause of the accident.
