Nghe An: Seized large quantity of bleaching powder and yellow umbrella

(Baonghean.vn) - At 5:40 p.m. on April 15, the Environmental Police Team (Vinh City Police) seized a shipment containing a large quantity of bleaching powder and yellow powder.

Authorities check the evidence.

The Environmental Police force inspected the business kiosk and warehouse of Ms. Pham Thi Luan, born in 1968, residing in Hamlet 3, Hung Chinh Commune (Vinh City). The inspection discovered 222 kg of bleaching powder and 75 kg of gold-generating powder suspected to be yellow powder.

In addition, the authorities also discovered 24 boxes of Lion powder of 300 grams, 21 boxes of 3.5 kg, 80 boxes of Chao, 2,400 tubes of WASABI mustard, and 15 kg of borax.

The seized exhibits had no documents of origin.

During the investigation, Ms. Luan admitted that she imported the above mentioned goods to sell to those in need. The owner of the goods also did not have any documents proving the origin of the above mentioned goods.

The authorities have drawn up a record to seize all the exhibits to complete the case file for handling according to the provisions of law.
