Bottled drinking water in Nghe An: Department says it meets standards, district still fines!
(Baonghean.vn)- There are still many establishments in the province that produce bottled drinking water that does not meet quality standards. This information was presented at the online conference of the health sector on the afternoon of April 4, 2016.

According to the report of Nghe An Department of Health, in the first quarter of 2016, the inspection team of the Department inspected food safety and hygiene at 41 bottled water production facilities. Of which, the team temporarily suspended 5 production facilities, temporarily withheld the certificate of conformity of bottled water and jars of 1 facility; and administratively sanctioned 10 facilities. The team collected 31 water samples, with the results that 22 samples met the standards, while 9 samples did not have the inspection results.

However, this information still has conflicting opinions from the facility. Specifically, the Head of the Nam Dan District Health Department stated at the conference: In the district, there are 02 bottled water production facilities in Khanh Son and Nam Thanh communes. When inspecting, the Department's inspection team confirmed that these 2 facilities met the standards. When the Nam Dan District inspection team inspected, they found many violations and punished both facilities.
The Head of the Nam Dan District Health Department recommended: The inspection team of the Department and the province, when conducting inspections, needs to carefully, closely and comprehensively assess all human factors, facilities and environment./.
