100% of the delegates present at the 10th Central Committee Meeting of the Vietnam Youth Union, through a secret ballot, agreed to elect Mr. Le Quoc Phong as the First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union.

This morning (April 21st), in Hanoi, the 10th Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union heard a personnel proposal introduced by the Politburo, nominating Mr. Le Quoc Phong, alternate member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union, and President of the Vietnam Student Association, for the position of First Secretary of the 10th Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union.

According to the assignment of the Politburo, Mr. Nguyen Dac Vinh, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Youth Union (10th term), has been appointed Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee.
