Nghe An ranked 2nd at Phu Dong Sports Festival - Region 3

(Baonghean.vn) - Latest information from the Department of Education and Training, at the National Sports Competition - Region 3 held in Thanh Hoa province, the Nghe An athlete team excellently ranked 2nd out of 12 participating units.

Participating in this Phu Dong Sports Festival are 12 delegations from the provinces of Nghe An, Da Nang, Quang Tri, Thua Thien Hue, Quang Binh, Khanh Hoa, Phu Yen, Ha Tinh, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh and the host team Thanh Hoa.

With 285 athletes and coaches, Nghe An delegation participated in 10/10 events. As a result, the athletes brought home 52 medals, including 15 gold, 15 silver and 22 bronze medals. The events with many medals were badminton, athletics and table tennis.

Thus, with the end of the National HKPĐ - Region 3, the subjects for primary and secondary school students have ended. Next July, the final round of the National HKPĐ will be opened in Thanh Hoa and Nghe An. However, in the final round, only football and chess will have students from all three levels participating. The remaining subjects are only for high school students to compete.
