Dismissed Head of Education Department due to anonymous denunciation

Before the Party Congress, the head of the district education department was said to have written many anonymous letters "defaming" the leaders, with untrue content.

On April 26, Mr.Pham Phuc Giang -The Chairman of the People's Committee of Cai Nuoc district (Ca Mau province) said he had signed a decision to dismiss Mr. Nguyen Trung Thuong - former Head of the district's Department of Education and Training.

"Previously, Mr. Thuong was also disciplined by the Party by being dismissed from the position of Party Cell Secretary," Mr. Giang said.

Mr. Thuong was accused of writing many anonymous letters with false accusations against district leaders before the Cai Nuoc District Party Congress took place in July 2015.

The district chief said that after the anonymous letter appeared, the police were directed to investigate the person spreading the false information. The authorities later determined that the handwriting on the cover of the complaint was Mr. Thuong's.

However, Mr. Thuong said that he did not write a letter denouncing anyone. "I have complained about the district chairman's decision to dismiss me, and will soon file a lawsuit in administrative court regarding the disciplinary action of dismissing me," Mr. Thuong said.
