Thanh Chuong: Support the family of a drowned student with 20 million VND

(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of April 29, representatives of Thanh Chuong District People's Committee, Thanh Chuong Town People's Committee and Thanh Chuong Sand Company came to express condolences and support the family of Mr. Tran Van Vinh in Block 6, Thanh Chuong District Town with 20 million VND.

Mr. Vinh's son, Tran Van Duc, born in 1993, drowned while working for Ms. Tran Thi Dao's sand dredging boat on the afternoon of April 9, 2016 on Lam River, at Hao Giang sand wharf area, Thanh Tien commune, Thanh Chuong district.

Representative of Thanh Chuong Sand Company presented 20 million VND to support Mr. Vinh's family.

Duc was the only son, had just completed his military service and was studying at the Geography Department of Vinh University. He took advantage of his day off to work part-time to earn extra money to pay for his tuition but drowned.

In addition to this amount of money, Thanh Chuong district also called on charitable organizations and individuals to support the family, because Mr. Vinh and his wife are old and weak, and their economic life is very difficult.
