Delegate Le Nhu Tienhighly appreciated the first time the Vietnamese National Assembly has a female Chairwoman, which proves the policy of promoting the role of women in leadership and management of the country.
"I think that is a very correct policy and consistent with gender equality that we have just passed. I also think that the policy of increasing the number of female delegates to 30% of delegates is very good and consistent with our process of integrating with the world, gender equality, and I hope that there will be more and more female National Assembly delegates or leaders of Party and State agencies," said Mr. Tien.
