Miss Sea Vietnam 2016: Priority given to candidates who have won titles

Taking place from March to the end of May 2016, the Miss Sea Vietnam 2016 contest with the theme “Spreading Vietnamese beauty” was held to introduce and honor the beauty of Vietnamese women associated with the natural image of the homeland’s sea and islands. At the same time, it selected a beautiful face to represent the beauty of the homeland’s sea and islands.

Through the practical activities of the “Miss Sea Vietnam 2016” contest, the Organizing Committee and the coordinating units hope to contribute to enhancing the value of the sea and islands, contributing to promoting the socio-economic development of Quang Ninh in particular and the sea areas of Vietnam in general. From there, once again affirming and inheriting the precious tradition of loving the homeland of our ancestors for thousands of years.

According to Mr. Ly Minh Tuan, Head of the Organizing Committee, the contest is organized to find the most deserving beauty with a full beauty, closely connected with nature. At the same time, it shows pride in the picturesque coastlines of Vietnam in general and Ha Long Bay in particular. In addition, this is also a playground, a place to learn and enrich knowledge for contestants to express and experience their understanding of the knowledge of culture, society and the homeland's islands.

The final night of Miss Sea Vietnam 2016 will take place at Tuan Chau pearl island (Ha Long city, Quang Ninh). The final night stage will be inspired by the pearl of the sea, bringing the audience many new and attractive creative points.

The contest includes accompanying activities such as charity programs, social activities to improve the environment... with residents of floating fishing villages, coastal fishing villages; clips recording beautiful images of Ha Long sea and islands associated with the images of the contestants. This is considered a cultural event with great political and social significance.

Not only that, being associated with one of the biggest events in the country, Ha Long Tourism Week 2016, the contest "Miss Vietnam Sea 2016" is considered one of the contests with wide publicity, grand organization scale, reaching national and international level.

According to the program's general director, Hoang Cong Cuong, this is a Miss Vietnam Sea contest, so the training program for contestants also focuses on knowledge of the sea and islands, so that each contestant becomes an image promoting tourism, contributing to expressing love for the homeland and country.

According to the Organizing Committee, the preliminary round will take place in two regions - the North in Hanoi from April 8-10, the South in Ho Chi Minh City from April 2-4. After the preliminary round, the Organizing Committee will select 60 contestants for the Semi-finals held on May 6-8 (Quang Ninh). The final night (May 21) will take place in Tuan Chau, Ha Long, Quang Ninh and will be the competition of the 40 best contestants.
